next-auth.session-token: maintains your authenticated session (duration: browser session or up to 30 days for "remember me")
__Host-next-auth.csrf-token: CSRF protection, prevents cross-site request forgery attacks (duration: session)
NEXT_LOCALE: stores your language preference — pt, en, or es (duration: 1 year).

Functional (opt-in)

These improve your experience but are not required.

localStorage: theme — your light/dark theme preference
localStorage: recentSearches — your recent global search history (cleared when you clear browser data)
localStorage: cookieConsent — records your cookie consent choices and the policy version you accepted.

Analytics (opt-in)

Currently, Nova Finance does not use any analytics cookies or third-party analytics services. If we introduce analytics in the future (e.g., Plausible Analytics or PostHog, both privacy-respecting tools), we will update this policy and request your consent before activating them.

Marketing (opt-in)

Currently, Nova Finance does not use any marketing cookies, advertising pixels (such as Facebook Pixel or Google Ads), or retargeting technologies. We do not share data with advertising networks. If this changes in the future, we will request explicit consent.

Nova Finance currently does not embed any third-party widgets, social sharing buttons, or advertising networks that would set cookies from external domains.

Our infrastructure sub-processors (hosting, email delivery) may set technical cookies or tokens strictly necessary for their service operation. These do not track you across websites.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any Nova Finance page. This opens the consent panel where you can enable or disable non-essential cookies.

Please note: disabling necessary cookies (especially the session token) will prevent you from logging into Nova Finance.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we introduce new technologies or change how we use cookies. Material changes will be notified in advance, and your consent will be requested again if the changes affect functional, analytics, or marketing cookies.
